The Grand Rapids Optimist Club, in its
mission to be "Friend of Youth", seeks a long-
term partner or other interested groups for
utilizing Camp Optimist. The camp is a 120-
acre woodland, day camp with a lodge and
pool, located just south of Lake Michigan Drive
and 2 miles west of Standale.
Interested parties are urged to view (click)

2008 Trash Pick Up Schedule Reminder
Club members are encouraged to mark this date to
participate on the 2-3 miles of Lake Michigan Drive M-45
near the Camp Optimist entrance:
September 18 (Thu) late afternoon/early evening

We meet every other Wednesday
from 12:10 PM to 1:30 PM including Wednesdays of
September 3rd and 17th; October 1st, 15th and 29th;
November 12th and 26th; and December 10th for our
regular Club lunch meeting times at the
Radisson Hotel Grand Rapids Riverfront
at 270 Ann St NW
from 12:10 PM to 1:30 PM.
